  1. Holly Carter

I purchased this companion notebook for The Big Book of Blooms as a supplement to our Botany study this year. This was recommended for younger children but my 4th, 6th and 7th graders loved how the information in the book was set up more like fun facts and gave them the opportunity to draw the flowers that they were learning about. So much more fun than dry textbooks!

    • Daily Skill Building

We are so glad to hear you have been enjoying our Notebook Companion™ for The Big Book of Blooms. We actually recommend this series for grades 3 and and up, so it makes sense that your 4th, 6th, and 7th graders got a lot out of it. They are the perfect ages for our Notebooks. And I agree, notebooking is so much better than dry and boring textbooks!

  2. Aspen Allen

Love this companion to the Big Book of Blooms! I’m going to use it over the summer for my 6 year old so we aren’t completely out of practice by the time our homeschool co-op starts in the fall! I hope many more of these come out soon!

The Big Book Series Notebook Companions are best suited to grades 3 and up due to the writing component of notebooking. But what if you have younger children you’d like to include in your studies?

With our Junior Notebooks, you CAN!

Our Junior Notebooks contain simple notebooking templates that cover each section of The Big Books, along with themed coloring pages to match what types of creatures you are learning about.

Younger children will be encouraged to write down whatever they’d like to after reading the books and draw/sketch pictures of what they are learning. Plus, what young child doesn’t love coloring?
