This book is incredible! It has beautiful illustrations that accompany a unique activity for each state. We used the Notebook Companion for Notebooking through the 50 States and decided to check out the other Notebook Companions. So glad we did. This book exceeded our expectations and the Notebook Companion is laid out perfectly to follow along. Your kids will mark on a map where you are on your adventure, draw pictures about it, and answer questions about things like the climate, plants, animals, etc. This one will spark adventure in your life!

Woah! What a cool book! 50 Adventures in 50 States has beautiful pictures and will definitely get you and your child interested in going places. The book along with its notebooking companion would be the perfect addition to a road trip through the states, or for vacation, or using it as a bucket list of places to travel! Combining art with adventure, history, and geography will definitely encourage you to get out in the world and may even encourage you to explore what else your state has to offer. This notebook companion offers many opportunities to draw, write, explore! At the back of this notebook it offers you ideas for going on an adventure locally too. This is perfect for 3rd grade and up. I may just have to use this for ideas when planning my next trip to visiting family that live out of state!

This notebook is very organized! I love that map work is immediately enforced at the beginning of each lesson. The spaces provided are big boxes (not lines), so you can draw or write how big or small you want. Page numbers on what to read are written down for easy reference. The companion book does not just talk about the 50 states. There are extra topics such as camping, swimming, and safari. A bonus lesson plan is included with the purchase. So if you plan to use the bundle (50 States Notebook Series), the guide can help you pace everything out for one school year.
