Keep Quiet Challenge Bible Study
This 12-week Bible study for women will help you learn how to glorify the Lord with your lips. Learn how to stop pushing those you care about away!
Throughout this study you will learn how to:
- Tame your tone of voice
- Stop nagging
- Quit grumbling & complaining
- Build up, not tear down
- Avoid being negative
- And more!
Taming your tongue is no doubt a difficult task, but it’s not impossible!
Our tongues are surely set on fire by hell, but thankfully the Lord offers us grace and mercy. The Keep Quiet Challenge will help you learn new habits and break the chains that keep our minds and mouths in bondage.
Scripture calls us fools when we cannot keep quiet (Proverbs 29:11). We drive our husbands to the roof (Proverbs 25:24) and annoy those around us like a continuous dripping (Proverbs 27:15-16).
“And the tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life, and set on fire by hell.” James 3:6
Learn how to stop pushing those you care about away!
Our families bear the brunt of our behavior and see us at our worst. Others may not be aware of your destructive habits like nagging, complaining, outbursts of wrath, and gossiping, but the Lord sees all things!
Real change is not only possible, but it’s within your reach. Learn how to get control of your emotions and replace bad habits using action steps that help you each step of the way.
“From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.” James 3:10

“This is something my family needs! The kids keep arguing, whining, and begging till I lose my cool, and this means the atmosphere in our home is not the peaceful, joy-filled atmosphere I long for. I need help!” – Melissa, Okinawa, Japan

Every mom has struggled with the regret of saying something they didn’t mean in a stressful moment. It’s never our intention to hurt our children but sometimes our tone can cut deep. I bought this product so that I can keep myself in check while raising and homeschooling my children. I’m starting this in a couple of days and I know from reading through these pages already that I will not be the same after I finish this study. Thank you for creating this product to help parents biblically learn the importance of managing the words that leave our mouths before we hurt those in our care!

I just finished week 1 challenge and am loving this study so far. I’ve learned a few new Bible verses and made it through a week of not raising my voice. What an amazing resource. I can’t wait to start week 2!

It is wonderful to have a day by day biblical guide for something that tugs at the heart and deeply effects your personal relationship with your spouse and children. Working through this guide has enabled me to reflect on what I say, how I say it and how it effects the most precious people in my life!

I am so glad you’ve launched this program. I am a mom of three, married to a wonderful man, and I am so tired of my mouthiness and my sinful words… I have done anger-management courses, learned scripture, and even fasted for this. I can see the yucky words and tones creeping in to my daughters’ and son’s mouths and hearts – and it kills me. I don’t want to cause them to stumble.

Loved the study! It covered so many topics that we often overlook and excuse. The “self-reflection” areas that recorded successes and the Bible memory verses included helped keep me accountable to the challenge. I actually decided to go through it again this new year.

I have so enjoyed this 12 week course. I have learned so much about myself. Some things came to light that I didn’t realize about myself. I have learned how to keep my mouth shut and still use my verses to help me when I get annoyed or upset. I will forever be thankful for this opportunity.
Melissa –
I desperately need help with my tone of voice. I do nag also, even when I believe I have been patient. The tone is the worst though. I may be internally frustrated and it comes out as aggression.

Thank you so much for starting this. You are an answer to prayers!! Reading your email made me cry because finally I feel like someone understands what it is to try and not succeed in being silent or less wordy!!!
