Ordered the bundle for grades 6-8 which you will see this same review on those bundles. I had a SELF issue with ordering & they didn’t make me feel like an idiot. The Curriculum is a simple open and go with 1 word a day & designed for kids to actually retain the info. I have changed according to MY kids. Day 1: Complete Day 1-4 top portion only. Day 2: Complete the bottom portion
Day 3: Complete day 5 Review. The words are challenging but aren’t difficult to where they want to quit. Spelling is created start the week after vocab. The spelling engages the definition so the kids are really working on spelling the words and vocab for about 2 weeks and don’t even realize it or feel bored with it. My kids do Day 1 and 2 for Day 1. On day 2 they complete Day 3, then complete the pre-test and take the test, or go straight for the test if they believe they do not need to take the pre-test. So not only will the kids have a refresher on the previous week vocabulary by completing the spelling, they will be introduced to new vocabulary words. You don’t have to buy both but I honestly recommend getting both because they work together. I love the fact that it is digital so I was able to print it instantly without have to wait. If I am able to update my comment and remember I will advise after using this for a full school year. The kids vocabulary, spelling, and comprehension skills have already improve within the first 2 month of using this. They even come to me and will say “Hey, I keep hearing and seeing words I am learning and can understand what’s being said” Can be used for high school.
