Discovering Plants and Animals Volume Three: Canada, Latin America & Beyond
Learning about Plants and Animals
Animals are incredible creatures to study. They live in virtually every corner of our world, from freezing continents to scorching deserts.
From guacharos and tuataras to hutias to manicous, help your students discover hundreds of animals that live throughout Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, South America, Australia and Oceania, Antarctica, and twenty-three dependencies of the United Kingdom and France around the world.
They can also discover some of the many kinds of plants grown and crops raised in many of these locations.
Discovering Plants and Animals is a self-paced science unit study for grades 3-6, although it’s flexible and can be used for younger or older students. It includes 53 sections or regions so students can focus on just a few countries at a time.
This science unit study was created to accompany Daily Skill Building: World Geography & History and follows along with the lessons in that full-year curriculum.
