I love this curriculum! I have Volume 2 and I was so excited to see Volume 3! And it did not disappoint! Volume 3 covers Oceania, Canada, Mexico, Latin America and so much more! There are 2 texts for this: the reading/learning part of the text and the student workbook. The book is broken down into 186 lessons of history and geography, enough to last a whole year. The student reads the lesson then answers the questions in the student workbook. Every few lessons, there is mapwork which has your student labeling rivers, mountains, countries, and more! There are also opportunities to dive deeper into the leaders of the country or an important in that country. This could be a stand-alone curriculum or you could use it so supplement any other curriculum. My Kids enjoy the mapwork the most! This is great! I would say that this would be great for upper elementary students and older.

This Daily Skill Builder’s description won me over at complete curriculum that is easy, open and go, and no extra books required! This truly is as described. It comes with a Scope & Sequence, Text, and Student book. This is set up to be completed over a year and I would recommended for grade 5 and up. I do not feel like I need to add and can do this on the go, we travel quite a bit. We printed the Student Book in advance and use the Scope & Sequence and Text on my laptop. There are three volumes, this volume teaches Oceania, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, South America, and Antarctica. This is a larger curriculum than we are use to,it felt overwhelming at first. The Scope & Sequence and text are very clear to follow and after reading through them first I felt comfortable diving in. Will be purchasing Volumes 1 & 2! They do not need to be done in order.

I have always been curious about this series, so I was really excited to try this curriculum out! This specific volume covers Oceania, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, South America, and Antarctica. I like the fact that the 395-page text covers in detail the places–it is not a summary or overview only. The lessons are concise and readable. Plus points go to the notebook companion because it acts as an outline of what things to focus on. The student is encouraged to always go deeper and read carefully the lesson. There is an answer key located at the back for easy checking. Additional maps and flags for coloring are also included–yay for that (as I do not need to research them anymore)! A very helpful scope and sequence are part of your purchase. I was starting to feel overwhelmed looking at the text, but the scope and sequence organized it quite clearly for me!
