I have always been curious about this series, so I was really excited to try this curriculum out! This specific volume covers Oceania, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, South America, and Antarctica. I like the fact that the 395-page text covers in detail the places–it is not a summary or overview only. The lessons are concise and readable. Plus points go to the notebook companion because it acts as an outline of what things to focus on. The student is encouraged to always go deeper and read carefully the lesson. There is an answer key located at the back for easy checking. Additional maps and flags for coloring are also included–yay for that (as I do not need to research them anymore)! A very helpful scope and sequence are part of your purchase. I was starting to feel overwhelmed looking at the text, but the scope and sequence organized it quite clearly for me!
