Copywork Coloring Notebook
This coloring notebook features 30 coloring pages depicting key people, places, events, and more. Each page includes a phrase related to the person, place, or event, with one or more key words underlined. Students can copy the key words on the dotted line that is provided. They can color Independence Hall, the Boston Tea Party, Crispus Attucks, and much more. This is a fun way for younger children to take part in the learning while sharpening their handwriting skills!
Vocabulary Cards
These cards feature the 45 vocabulary words and definitions included in the study. There are two versions of each card included. Students can use the set of cards that includes both the vocabulary words and their definitions to review, or they can copy the definitions onto a set of blank cards for additional practice. This is a great way to help kids commit key vocabulary words and their meanings to memory.
Timeline
With two styles of timelines included, students can get a bigger-picture view of what they have studied. One style includes a list of 25 key dates drawn from the main study. Students can copy these events onto a blank timeline that is included. The second style includes the same 25 events broken into boxes that can be cut out and pasted into the correct places on a second timeline. For added fun, they may choose to complete both activities!
