I homeschool my 14 year old daughter who has Down’s Syndrome. We just finished the Notebook of Blooms and she couldn’t wait to move on to the Notebook of Birds! We enjoy the series immensely! It’s a learning activity that we do together… Reading and learning new facts and then drawing and coloring our versions of the birds! I highly recommend the series!

  2. Holly Carter

We have been using The Big Book Of series for a couple years now with the corresponding Notebook Companions. These notebooks will not disappoint! My kids have loved the freedom to work ahead in a fun, free to express themselves, artistic way. This Notebook Companion, as well as all of the others in this series, are excellent resources for learning what they need to know in a way that draws them into the subject that they are learning about at the time.
These notebooks are so versatile as well. One of my children does not like to illustrate animals so we simply print off a picture of that animal and she cuts, glues, and labels it, and she’s done!

With our Junior Notebooks, you CAN!

Our Junior Notebooks contain simple notebooking templates that cover each section of The Big Books, along with themed coloring pages to match what types of creatures you are learning about.

Younger children will be encouraged to write down whatever they’d like to after reading the books and draw/sketch pictures of what they are learning. Plus, what young child doesn’t love coloring?
