Product Description

Learn to draw a frog based on a Hawaiian water fountain.

On the island of Oahu, Hawaii, is an enormous cemetery with a variety of religious centers to serve the various groups living on the island. That’s where we found this frog spurting water into a quiet pond.

If this is the first time you have had a chance to work with oil pastels, you will be happy to discover how easy they are to work with. The lesson is also an introduction to using light and dark colors to create shape.

Since the lesson includes lots of pictures of real frogs, there is plenty of input for the creative use of color.

This lesson includes both POWERPOINT and VIDEO versions of the lesson plus 2 downloadable printouts: a warmup and a drawing of the frog.

Approximate Time to Complete the Art Class:

  • Introduction through guided drawing: 20 minutes
  • Finishing the drawing: 50 minutes
  • Total time: 70 minutes

Families will have access to the online lesson for one year from the date of purchase.
