  1. Kristy Hetzel

My son is very keen on these Answers mini-books so I was keen to check out these notebooking pages. They are simple, clean, ready to use resources. While they might be simple enough to create yourself, I personally would never get to that and think it is worth purchasing readymade! We haven’t done a lot of narration, so my kids struggled with the open-ended questions and felt done with a single sentence, eek. We obviously need to work on narration! I liked the page highlighting the listed scripture references for the question and the fact that it pushes the kids to actually look them up and then to write them out. I found that was a good copywork prompt and my son can definitely benefit from copywork. I think for us, I might need to tweak it slightly to draw my kids out more if the purpose is learning and retaining the information, but if you are used to notebooking then these would be a great learning tool.
