The Playful Pioneers Volume 2 is a 30-week, literature and project-based curriculum for elementary students (ages 5–12) that brings American history, science, and geography to life. Inspired by Charlotte Mason’s methods, it uses living books, narration, art, and hands-on projects to create a rich and memorable learning experience.

Students journey through the seven regions of the United States and study the Constitution, meeting notable figures and events along the way. Each region includes engaging readings, map work, journaling, science activities, and creative projects like candle-making, rock painting, and regional cooking. Art and poetry studies feature American masters, paired with regional poems and hymns to deepen appreciation for beauty and history.
