Students start with the end of the French & Indian War and discover the events that led to the American Revolution, meet key people, learn about major battles and everyday life, and so much more! Then they learn about the Articles of Confederation and its weaknesses, some of the leading men responsible for the Constitution, and some of the disagreements over what the Constitution should include. They also learn about the separation of powers and what the Constitution means by looking at the body of the Constitution and each Article. Finally, they explore each amendment, starting with the Bill of Rights and continuing through the most recent amendment. You can even display the finished pages around the room as a way to see the story unfold. Includes both the print handwriting version (243 pages) and cursive handwriting version (243 pages).
