This is our 22nd year homeschooling and our 2nd year using Daily Skill Building (wish I would have found them sooner!). My kids and I really enjoy the format and this year we are absolutely loving Ellen McHenry’s Elements science book. This is an all-in-one curriculum that includes the text, student pages and activities and answer key. I’m currently using it with my 5th, 8th and 11th graders. Although, for my high schooler, it’s just a quick review before he dives into a meatier curriculum. The text is fun and engaging and well written for elementary to middle school levels. We are really enjoying McHenry’s writing style, which has taken what can be a difficult and dry subject and made it interesting and somewhat captivating. I really appreciate the YouTube videos that are recommended with many chapters and would like to see DSB include that with their other products in the future. I often try to find YouTube videos for other curriculum but that can be so time consuming. All in all, I love DSB products and especially the format of Ellen McHenry’s books. I’m hoping they will offer her entire line of curriculum in the future.
