Denise Rodriguez –
Boy do I love these Gail Gibbons Notebook Companions!! All of them are a must have. Who knew there was so much to learn about Migration?? This book and notebook companion went above and beyond to share so much interesting and fun information. This one was recommended for ages K-3, however my 5th grader loved it as well! This was easy to incorporate with K-5th graders all at once.

Migration is such a simple term that I can easily explain it in one sentence. But boy, a whole book and notebook on the topic! I am already very curious. Your child will learn all about migration routes, different animals that migrate (air, land, water), people observing migration, and migration facts on select animals. There is a lot of sketching and coloring involved that your child might be on his/her way to becoming a naturalist! The notebook companion by Gail Gibbons and this notebook is an absolute treasure–a unique one in the market. I would recommend this curriculum even beyond grade 3 as it is a wonderful way to learn about animals on a basic level.
